Make Dad Proud!

I originally started StormBourne, LLC in 2013 as a software development company that allowed me to do research and development in mobile, desktop and large scale computing platforms. After my mom’s death in 2016 my Dad, a photographer and cinematographer with over 50 years experience moved to Birmingham to be closer to our family. Having this closeness with my Dad rekindled my love for photography and cinematography. At early ages my brothers and I spent many years in the fringes of Dad’s business. From changing gels on background lights and changing backgrounds at six or seven years old. To working in the dark room in our teens. To covering local sporting events. To being assistant camera operators. We’ve seen the business from all sides for decades.

Unfortunately Dad passed away in May of 2021 from complications of COVID 19 leaving us with so many memories of camera gear talk and talk of making motion pictures. While I continue to love and vigorously pursue software development, my passion for cinematography and photography has been re-ignited. Every time I hit the record button or trip the shutter on a camera, I feel close to Dad again. Let us put that passion to work for you in your next media project.
